After subscription, you will receive the access to your private trello board within 24 hours. You can directly start adding tasks to the board once you get access.

You can add as many tasks as you like and even invite your colleagues to the board. Notice that only one task will be processed at a time, from top to bottom.

DevOps Package:

Automation ScriptingWe will create scripts for any kind of repetitive task for you. We use Shell scripting or Python for that purpose.
Gitlab CI/CDTo automate your developer workflow, Gitlab provides a very powerful CI/CD engine. We will consult, setup or adjust your Gitlab flows according to your requirements. If unsure of feasibility, send us a message and we will check your requirements upfront.
Infrastructure as CodeWe automate the setup of your infrastructure via declarative source code. The scope is limited by the frameworks we use - Terraform or CloudFormation. If unsure of feasibility, send us a message and we will check your requirements upfront.
Linux server setupYour services and tools need a place to run, Linux is the most commonly used operating system for that use case. We will setup one or multiple machines for you, either bare metal or virtual, any distribution. If you also subscribe to our Cloud Package, we may also setup a full Kubernetes cluster on these machines to create a highly available platform for your services. Note that long-term maintenance is not included in this package.
Developer tools setupDevelopers rely on various tools to work efficiently. They mostly need a source code version control such as Gitlab, a artifact storage like Nexus or a source code audit system like SonarQube. We will consult you, setup and configure these tools for your needs.

JavaScript Package:

Creation of static pages from UI designYou provide a UI design (e.g. in Figma) and we will generate website from it using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Website stylingWe will customize the styling of your website or app using SASS, plain CSS or TailwindCSS.
Web app developmentWe will build or customize a web app based on the design you provide us. We will use either Angular or VueJS for implementation. Please keep in mind that implementation time can vary and is heavily dependent on your requirements and integration of 3rd party systems.
Frontend architecture design or reviewWe will create an architectural design (e.g. monolith or microfrontend-approach) based on your requirements and landscape. We can also review your existing architecture and give you feedback or suggestions based on our professional experience.
E2E-Tests w/ CypressWe will write or extend E2E tests for your application using Cypress.
API developmentWe will write a backend service for your needs using plain NodeJS or NestJS. We may implement all common 3rd party systems, such as databases, queue systems or similar. Please keep in mind that implementation time can vary and is heavily dependent on your requirements and integration of 3rd party systems.

Cloud Package:

Kubernetes setup & customizationWe will setup a fresh Kubernetes cluster for you, according to your setup parameters (amount of nodes, HA setup, storage, etc). We may also customize or review your existing Kubernetes setup. Our supported cloud providers are AWS, Azure or Hetzner Cloud. Note that long term maintenance is not part of this package.
Kubernetes resource creation & customizationWe will create your required Kubernetes resources, depending on your needs. For example, a highly available service could persist out of a Deployment, Service and Ingress definition. We will create these resources for you or optimize your setup. We may also review or consult you on the best setup for your use case and requirements.

Service containerizationThe easiest way to migrate your service into the cloud is to containerize your applications. We will take your existing application, adjust for better configurability (if needed) and create Dockerfiles or Docker images out of it. If you need Docker images, please provide a Docker registry to push the images to (Gitlab, Docker Hub, Nexus, etc.). You may also subscribe to our DevOps package so we can setup such registry for you.
Helm ChartsYou now have a working Kubernetes cluster, containerized services and Kubernetes resources. To maintain larger applications, Helm charts are the best practice. They bundle your applications and allow them to be versionized to be more consistent and maintainable. We will create or customize such Helm charts for you.

In case you don't need our services during a period, you may always pause your subscription within your billing dashboard. A billing period is based on 31 days, so once you pause your subscription, the remaining days will be reused once you resume it, no matter how much time has gone by.

You will be mainly working with Thomas, founder and CEO of CodeFares. However, some tasks may be spread around the network of other suppliers. CodeFares will always approve every work done to ensure our high quality standard.

Since all our processes are fully asynchronous, our main focus is the timely feedback on your tasks. On average, this will be within 24 to 48 hours. Some more complex tasks could take longer though, but we will always keep you in the loop.

As any working personell, we also will take vacations or days off. In case there is no free staff available for your task, we will notify you upfront and pause your subscription during this period. The subscription will be resumed by us afterwards, ensuring you won't lose any of your billed days.

You can always pause your subscription and resume it when you need it. This way you don't waste any of your subscription period.

In theory yes, you can submit any tasks within the described category of your subscription. But please keep in mind that there will be only one person working on your tasks, one after one. If a submitted ticket has a too large scope, we will split it down for you in order to maintain the 24 to 48 hour feedback window. We recommend to chunk your tickets into smaller tasks upfront in order to maintain best efficiency.

One core part of our philosophy is a fully asynchronous way of working which includes a no-meeting and no-call policy. This way we can dedicate our time fully on your tasks, which result in a faster resolution time. Please make sure you include as much and clear information in your tickets in order for us to achieve this goal.
